3rd Mirage | Accidental Video

[The video cuts in on Miria entering the church once again, having done some patrolling outside earlier. Her expression is fairly blank, but those that know her can see a twinge of irritation in her expression. All this time, and there was still nothing to be found about these murders. It's not until she steps further inside that she nearly drops her blade, but that is a definite tightening of her grip on the sword.

It's not a pretty sight.

One Pokeball lays clattered on the ground, the other five on his belt, as Rion stares up from the ground, lifelessly. It's obvious what killed him - there's a huge gaping hole where his left eye would be, like something massive just punctured right through it and through most of his head. Drying blood is still dribbling out the hole down his face.

The other eye stares up blankly towards the sky, as if searching for help that had never come. And like the others, his chest has been torn open for all to see, organs still intact except for his heart, which is nowhere to be found. Miria quickly sheathes her blade, inspecting the body, her expression unreadable. How someone could get inside and pull something off like this she didn't know, but -

Damn it...

Happy to lend help.

How have the murders been spaced out? We might be able to predict the next one.

They've been sporadic, oddly enough. Sometimes there's a few days until the next one; like this one.

Others have occurred within the same day. [There's a definite tightening of her voice, fists clenched. Trevor just told her about Dawn being killed outside]

..no patterns?

We might have a serial killer on our hands. Anyone here..disturbed enough to do something like this?

Are you..okay?

Many, unfortunately. But nobody that stands out at this point.

[She shakes her head] I'll be fine. One would think that people wouldn't stoop to the level of monsters, but I suppose there are times when I can be proven wrong.

This is frustrating.

People are mostly civil, and this individual..I don't think it's a person.

That might be an understatement. [There's a small twinge of humor in her voice, but other than that, nothing.]

We've been contemplating if it wasn't human, and I'd have to agree. It's nothing native to where I'm from, though. We would've known immediately if that were the case.

It could be something native to this place.

I wish there was something more we could do. I feel like we're just waiting for the next murder.

At least people are revived.
